Annak
Ti Candon Adopts Candon Public High Schools
Annak Ti Candon
International, Inc. (Annak) adds all Candon public high schools to
its Computerization Program.
On December 6,
2008, Annak National Board unanimously approved a resolution
adopting Dr. Ricardo Gacula Memorial National High School (f/k/a
Tamurong High School) and Sto. Tomas High School and making these
schools beneficiaries of Annak Computerization Program.
Under this
program, Annak will provide these schools with: 1) Computer systems;
2) Library reference books and materials; and 3) Academic
Achievement Awards to deserving students. In his letter to Mrs.
Cristina Leano-Escalona, Principal of Dr. Ricardo Gacula Memorial
High School and Ms. Beatrice Agbunag, Principal of Sto. Tomas High
School, Annak President. Atty. Omar B. De Peralta, indicated that
the program is pursuant to Annak’s goal of “promoting the academic
and educational development of the students by providing them the
necessary tools to excel in academics.” This program gives the
students the opportunity to succeed in life.
In a related
development, Annak Ti Candon-Nevada which previously adopted Candon
National High School (See
Annak-Nevada Adopts CNHS) is
optimistic that it will deliver on its promise to computerize Candon
National High School before the end of the year based on the
successful Thanksgiving Jam Session fundraising held on November 29,
2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
All for a
better Candon City!
