Annak Donates Computers to Candon Primary Schools

First to fourth graders and teachers at Candon primary schools have reasons to celebrate a happy and joyful Christmas. Annak plays Santa to these schools this Christmas Holiday.

In response to the request of primary schools from Candon Elementary School District 2, Annak ti Candon International, Inc. (Annak) will donate computers to three primary schools, namely:

1. Parioc Primary School.
2. Calaoa-an Primary School.
3. Amguid Primary School.

On November 15, 2008, Annak's National Board approved a resolution confirming the prior commitment of Annak to computerize all schools in Candon Elementary School District II. This donation is part of an on-going project of Annak to computerize public elementary and primary schools in Candon City Division, and is in furtherance of its objective of promoting the academic and educational development of the youths in Candon. These computers will, in the words of the school principals, "improve and upgrade our school in terms of its academics, infrastructures and facilities to cope with the new thrusts and trends of education and to be more competent in the field." (See attached letter.)

Annak contracted Planet Earth Computers to install complete computer systems, including accessories, tables and chairs, as requested by the school principals and head teachers. Annak has requested Atty. Emmylou Mangasar and Mrs. Evangeline Rubang to coordinate the implementation of this project.

In a related development, Annak's National Board will deliberate at its next meeting on December 6, 2008 a proposal to broaden the scope of Annak's Computerization Program to include public high schools. Annak has previously approved the project of Annak ti Candon-Nevada to computerize Candon National High School.

All for a better Candon City.
