To All the Founders and Members Of Annak Ti Candon,
Greetings! Congratulations to each and everyone, to all the
achievements and projects you have in the last 2 years. It's an
honor and I'm so proud to be a member of such a respectable and well
organized organization. I'm asking your good office to give us
permission to open a chapter here in
the UK. I would like your advice and guidance to make this into a
success.
My name is Mia Martinez Burton. I've been a member in the last 2
years. I'm the niece of Myrna Bandril and Estefania Herold.
I'm based here in
London. I've been wanting to do this in the last 2 years but my
husband had a terrible accident 2 years ago. He has recovered from
it now. I've
contacted some Kababayan and extend my invite for them to join me to
organize this chapter. I got a reply from Caroline Galima Castro who
is
based in Guilford UK. She is more than happy to help me. We are
planning our first meeting in July - coinciding in Phil. Barrio
Fiesta which will
be held in Hounslow. I'm looking forward hearing from you.
